Anna Boessenkool 





Anna Boessenkool received her PhD in philosophy from Boston College in March, 2026. She is also a Guest Academic Affiliate at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. She researches phenomenology, psychoanalysis, feminist philosophy, and the philosophy of childhood. 

She has taught PHIL1070: Philosophy of the Person I (ancient and medieval), PHIL1071: Philosophy of the Person II (modern and contemporary), PHIL2252: Logic, and PHIL1252: Practical Logic. She also taught a public course on psychoanalysis and children’s literature this past spring. She received her BA in philosophy from The King’s University (Edmonton, AB) in 2020.

She wrote her dissertation under the supervision of Richard Kearney: Carnal Intersubjectivity: Between Phenomenology and Psychoanalysis.
